In March 2024, 2.27 million new credit cards were issued in the Russian Federation, which is 3.4% higher than the previous month. This is stated in the NBKI message.
The largest number of new credit cards in the regions were issued in Moscow - 159.4 thousand, the Moscow Region (121.7 thousand), the Krasnodar Territory (87.4 thousand), St. Petersburg (80.2 thousand) and the Rostov Region (78 thousand).
The most serious growth dynamics of issued new credit cards among the 30 leading regions in this segment of retail lending was registered in Khanty-Mansiysk JSC (+7.7%), Moscow (+6.9%), Leningrad (+6.5%), Rostov (+6.5%) and Tyumen (+6%) regions.
