An investor will invest 300 million rubles in the reconstruction of the Metallotorg base in the Moscow region

Glavgosstroynadzor has issued a permit for the construction of new facilities as part of the reconstruction of the Metallotorg base in Lobnya near Moscow, the press service of the department reported. 

The project is supported by the Construction Assistance Center under the Government of the Moscow Region. Investments will amount to about 300 million rubles With the launch of the facility, which is scheduled for the end of 2024, an additional 30 new jobs will be created here. 

The reconstruction of the base is carried out in two stages: as part of the start of work, the builders will erect a one-storey covered warehouse for storing rolled metal with a total area of more than 6.3 thousand square meters. The building is a specialized expenditure and storage logistics center and is intended for acceptance, placement, storage and further sale in the retail and wholesale network of various types of ferrous metals, including high-grade and sheet steel, pipes and small-grade rolled products, tinplate and wire of large cross-section, as well as other metal products. 

The volume of stored metal with the commissioning of the facility will reach 12 thousand tons per year. At the same time, 50% of the total volume will be transported by rail directly to the building of the new warehouse itself. Mechanization of technological processes is also provided for during loading and unloading operations. 

As part of the second stage, it is planned to dismantle old open storage areas, rebuild and redevelop the territory, including reconstruction of roads and access roads, replacement of engineering networks, landscaping and other works.
