Laboratory for the Analysis of Mineral Raw materials (LAMS) The Polyusa Research Center (CI) became the winner of the honorary award in the field of analytical control "Silver Mole", established by the Association of Analytical Centers "Analytica".
The award, which is a cube of pure silver weighing 107.87 g (exactly 1 mol), was presented as part of the annual meeting of the association, held in the Moscow region.
Alyona Starodubtseva, Director of the Research Center, commented:I am very proud that I have a great team. And the fact that this team is very effective. Leadership cannot be proved by force, only by character, intelligence and your actions.
The Silver Mole Award was established in 2003. Applicants for it are nominated by a competition committee, which includes at least 25 specialists and experts in the field of chemistry and metrology. At the final face-to-face stage of the competition, the special achievements of the nominees, technical competence, as well as a creative approach to self-presentation are evaluated.
Analytical laboratories from a wide variety of industries have become Silver Mole laureates over the years.
The measurement results of the laboratory for the analysis of mineral raw materials of the IC serve as the basis for decision-making in the research of technical and technological processes of gold production. The reliability of the data obtained by the LMS is confirmed by accreditation for compliance with the requirements of the international standard ISO/IEC 17025:2017 (GOST ISO/IEC 17025-2019).
