PJSC Dorogobuzh (part of the Acron Group) has produced a trial batch of new products for the company — biofertilizers. The company has produced two types of nitroammophosks with dietary supplements, which will be field tested in the fields of agricultural farms in Central Russia.

The Acron Group is searching for technological solutions and their industrial implementation in order to expand the product line and its consumer properties. The idea of using beneficial microorganisms in agriculture, which is an actual trend, was implemented within the framework of the company's ESG strategy. Biomodified or biomineral fertilizers, combining the advantages of traditional and biological plant nutrition, should increase the coefficient of assimilation of mineral elements, the profitability of using Dorogobuzhsky fertilizers with benefits for the environment.

The preparations contain a carrier treated with agrochemically useful microorganisms in the form of spores with a complex of valuable properties for plants. The application of bacterial strains to the surface of NPK granules takes place in a special drum, where an anti-tracking reagent is treated.

Specialists of the Center for Product Quality Control and Technological Research of PJSC Dorogobuzh conducted preliminary laboratory tests of dietary supplements. During the testing of the physico-chemical characteristics of the experimental batches, their compliance with the established quality standards was confirmed. Also, the procedure for State registration of new product brands has been initiated. Microbiological tests of new types of fertilizers were performed by the staff of the research industrial sanitary laboratory of the enterprise under the leadership of Svetlana Morozova.

"The main task of the project is to bring some of the standard products of Acron to a new level through the development and organization of the production of innovative fertilizers," said Roman Dmitriev, Executive Director of Dorogobuzh PJSC. "The use of fertilizers with biocomponents will reduce the agrochemical load on the soil, which is an additional contribution to the environment, and will make it possible to improve plant nutrition to optimize agricultural production and preserve soil fertility."

Tests conducted in Russia and abroad showed that as a result of applying biomineral fertilizers to the soil, the coefficients of plant use of nutrients from fertilizers and soil increased by an average of 15%. At the same time, the increase in yield reached indicators from 11 to 35%, depending on the cultivated crop and soil properties.

Studies of biofertilizers produced at PJSC Dorogobuzh will be conducted in the Orel, Lipetsk, Tula and Bryansk regions, after which their impact on soil composition and future yields will be assessed.
