The Moscow Exchange index lost 1.5% on Friday, closing just below 2,519 points, with weak turnover of 48.7 billion rubles. The shortage of ideas for growth, plus the end-of-week factor, put pressure on the market.
Yesterday, Willow shares (+5.39%), EL-5 Energy (+1.5%), which reported well for 9 months of 2025, as well as Lenta (+0.65%), which also presented strong results for the third quarter and 9 months of 2025, showed growth without news reasons.Yesterday, shares of WUSH (-6.7%) were under pressure, as they had also been growing for no news reasons; Mechel's OA (-4.48%), which lost the previous day's growth amid expectations of a shareholder meeting; Fixed Price shares (-3.5%), which presented weak results for the third quarter and 9 months of 2025 a day earlier.
Today, we believe that the Moscow Exchange index will be in a narrow range of 2500-2550 points. Trading is likely to be sluggish and at low turnover ahead of a long weekend and the absence of new positive inputs.
