The Moscow Exchange index added 1.6% on Thursday, closing at 2,557 points, with turnover slightly higher than the previous day at 69 billion rubles. The market was driven mainly by corporate news: for example, it became known that LUKOIL (+2.3%) was selling foreign assets to Gunvor. Although there are no details yet on which assets will fall within the scope of the deal and on what terms, investors reacted positively to the news.

Also, yesterday, the VUSH securities again took the lead (+15%) without obvious news and at maximum turnover, Delimobil (+4.86%), Positiv (+4%), Mechel (JSC: +3.67%) - it became known that a general meeting of shareholders will be held, where a vote on a major transaction will be held. Mother and Child shares added 1.86%, responding to strong operating results for the third quarter, and Gazprom - 0.8%, reflecting news of a reduction in the investment program to 1.1 trillion rubles in 2026, which is a third less than the current one.

Shares of Inarktics (-1.78%), which presented weak results of the parent company under RAS for 9 months, Sollers (-0.5%) and Lenta (-0.4%) were under pressure yesterday.

Today, we believe that the Moscow Exchange index will be in the range of 2500-2600 points. The factor of approaching the end of the week and the lack of new positive inputs may hinder further steady growth.
