Real estate projects with a total area of more than 2.5 million sqm were built and commissioned in the first quarter of 2021 in Moscow, as stated by the Moscow Urban Development Policy and Construction Authority informed referring to a statement by Andrey Bochkarev, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for the Urban Development and Construction.
According to the Deputy Mayor, the plan of commissioning housing in the city is also progressing as planned. "To date, 57 residential buildings with a total area of flats exceeding 1 million sqm have been built and commissioned, which is one-quarter of the 12-month plan," Bochkarev said.
To recap, almost 11 million sqm of real estate assets were commissioned in 2020, including almost 5 million sqm of housing. More than 36 million sqm of housing were built in Moscow for the past 10 years.
