4-month imports into Russia increased to $78.38 bn

In January-April 2021, Imports into Russia from non-CIS countries increased by 25% year-on-year to $78.38 billion. In April 2021, imports from non-CIS countries remained at the March levels ($22.42 billion vs. $22.45 billion), Russia's Federal Customs Service informed.

Imports of textiles and footwear decreased by 17.1% to $1.04 billion, imports of food products and raw materials by 4.6% to $2.25 billion, imports of chemical products by 4% to $4.07 billion, while imports of engineering products increased by 4.3% to $12.49 billion.
