The system will cover office, retail, warehouse, industrial, social and other types of facilities, will allow assessing their environmental safety, energy efficiency, comfort and convenience of the internal environment. Over the past 13 years, a highly professional building certification market has developed in Russia, where consultants, developers, real estate brokers, tenants and users of facilities work.
According to experts, the creation of a national system will support the market, which is estimated annually at more than 40 projects and 1.4 million square meters. m of the area of certified buildings.
VEB, as a development organization with experience in creating a certification system in the field of infrastructure IRIIS, will act as a market consolidator for the development and launch of a building certification system. To create it, the experience of the international systems BREEAM, LEED and WELL will be used. The system will be developed in cooperation with all interested organizations, including construction companies, real estate consultants, development institutes, environmental construction consultants, professional associations and associations, and authorities.
