A new enterprise will be established on the territory of the former Saratov Aviation Plant. This is stated in the message of the Federal Property Management Agency.
TU of the Federal Property Management Agency in the Saratov Region leased a 1-hectare plot of land to OOO Plant Sokol, CJSC Saratov Aviation Plant.
The land will be used for the implementation of a large-scale investment project for the construction of a new production building of an enterprise manufacturing aviation equipment.
Saratov Aviation Plant (SAZ) — an aircraft manufacturing company in Saratov, which operated until 2012. It produced aircraft from the Yakovlev Design Bureau, as well as aircraft and helicopters from other design bureaus. From 1931 to 1937, it existed as the Saratov Combine Harvester Plant named after B. P. Sheboldaev and produced combine harvesters of its own brand "SZK".
