A.Orlov sold shares in Tanuki

Alexander Orlov sold 33.3% shares in three companies – Tanuki, Tanuki-Krasnodar and Tanuki-N.-Novgorod. The deal was closed in mid-August. The buyer is businessman Andrey Askerko. The Vedomosti newspaper writes about this.

These companies own six Tanuki restaurants in Moscow, Moscow region, Krasnodar and Nizhny Novgorod. Their total revenue for 2021 amounted to 295 million rubles. At the same time, only the Novgorod company showed a significant net profit of 13.6 million rubles.

A.Orlov is one of the most famous restaurateurs in Russia. Created by him (in partnership with Andrey Isaev) in 2004, the network of Japanese restaurants "Tanuki", according to the information on the website of the holding TanukiFamily, has 76 outlets, 66 of which are located in Moscow, the rest – in Yekaterinburg, Krasnodar, Samara, Voronezh. The holding itself also includes beer restaurants "Ruff" and the delivery service "Your pizza".

A.Orlov also has foreign projects. The same "Tanuki" operates in the USA, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and the UAE, the Peruvian restaurant Ichu – in Hong Kong, and Cipriani, Gaia, Shanghai me and Sand – in Dubai, said the representative of the businessman referred to by the newspaper.
