In Russia, it is planned to launch a program of subsidizing the construction of cryogenic automobile filling stations (CryoAZS), which allow filling cars with liquefied natural gas. This was reported by the Ministry of Energy.

Currently, 700 million rubles have been allocated for these purposes. In the future, the subsidy will increase.

At the expense of the allocated funds, at least 180 CryoAZS will be created in the country by 2030. They will cover all the main routes of heavy–duty vehicles, will allow developing international transportation and creating large transport corridors, such as the Europe - Western China highway. To date, 29 stations are already operating.

In addition, the production of low-tonnage liquefied natural gas is developing in the Russian Federation. Now there are 19 plants operating, 100 thousand tons of LNG are consumed annually. By 2030, the production of this type of fuel is planned to increase to at least 100 million tons per year.
