The PTK center is to be put into operation in the Nizhny Novgorod Region in 2027. It will specialize in recycling electric vehicle batteries and mobile devices. This is stated in the message of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.
Also, as part of the implementation of the new national project "Environmental well-being" in the region, it is planned to carry out a lot of work in the field of improving water resources and eliminating accumulated harm.
The Nizhny Novgorod Region is creating an eco-industrial park under the Closed-Loop Economy project. All its residents will ensure the processing of various types of recyclables. The region is also developing waste management infrastructure, which aims to reduce the volume of landfills and increase the involvement of waste in recycling. Specialists are modernizing existing facilities and building new waste sorting and recycling facilities.
