Rostelecom installed nine base stations in the Republic of Mordovia in 2024 as part of the Digital Inequality Elimination Project (DCS 2.0). This is stated in the operator's message.
A 4G/LTE cellular network appeared in the villages of Starye Selishchi, Klyucharevo, Pixyasi, Inyat, Protasovo, Shadymo-Ryskino, Staraya Ryabka and in the villages of Krasnaya Zorka and Russian Baymakovo.
Over the past four years, Rostelecom has provided cellular communications to 49 small towns in Mordovia under the UCN 2.0 project. 125 km of optical lines have been built to connect the equipment, said Vladimir Sukhoveev, director of the Rostelecom branch in the Republic of Mordovia, quoted in the message.
When choosing settlements for inclusion in the UTS 2.0 program, several criteria are taken into account: the number of villagers living in the area — from 100 to 500 people, the absence of mobile Internet on the territory and the results of the popular vote on the Gosuslugi portal, recalled Dmitry Karasev, Minister of Digital Development of the Republic of Mordovia.

Revenue increased by 10% to 546.1 billion rubles from 498.46 billion rubles, OIBDA increased by 6% to 222.3 billion rubles from 209.26 billion rubles. Capital investments increased by 47% to RUB 113.4 billion.
