In September, Aeroflot Group increased passenger transportation by 43.4% to 4.8 million on an annualized basis. Compared to the indicator for the same period in 2019, the indicator decreased by 13.4%. This is stated in the message of Aeroflot.

3.7 million passengers were transported on domestic lines, which is 24.7% higher than in the same period in 2020 and 24.3% higher than in 2019.

Passenger traffic increased by 54.2% compared to the same period in 2020 and decreased by 24.8% compared to 2019. The maximum passenger turnover increased by 59.1% compared to 2020 and decreased by 21.4% compared to 2019.

The percentage of passenger seat occupancy decreased by 2.6 percentage points year-on-year and amounted to 81.5%.

The volume of cargo and mail transportation amounted to 27.8 thousand tons. This is 30.3% more than in the same period in 2020.

PJSC Aeroflot - Russian Airlines (TIN 7712040126) is the largest Russian air carrier. Aeroflot's loss under IFRS for 2020 amounted to 113.13 billion rubles against a profit of 11.96 billion rubles a year earlier. Revenue decreased by 55.4% to RUB 302.18 billion from RUB 677.88 billion, EBITDA - by 84% to RUB 26.99 billion from RUB 168.9 billion.

Aeroflot's net loss under RAS for the first half of 2021 amounted to RUB 26.3 billion against a loss of RUB 42.3 billion a year earlier. Revenue increased by 23.2% to RUB 149.9 billion from RUB 121.7 billion. The gross loss amounted to RUB 27.67 billion.

Aeroflot's net loss under IFRS for the first half of 2021 decreased by 52.4% to RUB 27.74 billion from RUB 58.27 billion a year earlier. Revenue increased by 30.7% to 195.15 billion rubles from 149.35 billion rubles, EBITDA increased by 3.7 times to 41.58 billion rubles from 11.09 billion rubles.
