Aeroflot Group's passenger traffic increased by 19% to 37.2 million in the first 8 months of 2024 compared to a year earlier. This is stated in the company's message.
Passenger traffic on domestic lines increased by 14% to 28.8 million, on international lines – by 40.4% to 8.4 million.
Passenger seat occupancy increased by 2.3 percentage points to 89.7%. On the domestic lines, the indicator increased by 1.7 percentage points to 91.4%.
Aeroflot increased transportation by 23.7% to 20.4 million passengers.

The net profit of the Aeroflot Group according to IFRS in the first half of 2024 amounted to 42.3 billion rubles against a loss of 102 billion rubles in the same period of 2023. The adjusted net profit of the group amounted to RUB 27.025 billion against an adjusted loss of RUB 20.083 billion for the first half of 2023. The group's revenue increased by 49.6% to RUB 377.215 billion. Revenue from regular passenger traffic increased by 50.8% to RUB 349.038 billion. Revenue from freight transportation increased by 30% to RUB 14.288 billion, including against the background of a 17.8% increase in cargo and mail transportation.
