Aeroflot Group's passenger traffic increased by 20.1 in January-July%

The passenger traffic of the Aeroflot Group in January-July 2024 increased by 20.1% to 31.25 million from 26 million a year earlier. Passenger traffic on international lines increased by 42.8% to 7.16 million, on domestic lines – by 14.7% to 24.08 million. This is stated in the company's message.

Aeroflot Group's passenger traffic in July 2024 increased by 14.7% to 5.8 million from 5.08 million compared to July 2023. 4.7 million passengers were transported on domestic lines (+11.6%), and transportation on international lines increased by 29.1% to 1.2 million. Aeroflot carried 3.2 million passengers (+15.3%).

Aeroflot is a Russian airline. The group of the same name also includes Rossiya and Pobeda airlines.

The authorized capital of PJSC Aeroflot consists of 3975771215 ordinary registered non-documentary shares with a nominal value of RUB 1 each. Preferred shares were not placed by the company.

The largest shareholder of PJSC Aeroflot is the Russian Federation, which owns 73.77% of the total number of ordinary shares of the company. 25.03% of the total number of ordinary shares is in free circulation.

Aeroflot's profit under IFRS for the first quarter of 2024 amounted to 1.1 billion rubles against a loss of 46.49 billion rubles a year earlier. Adjusted profit amounted to 6.5 billion rubles against a loss of 12.99 billion rubles. Revenue increased by 54.3% to RUB 173.58 billion from RUB 112.48 billion, EBITDA increased by 95.6% to RUB 59.35 billion from RUB 30.34 billion.

Aeroflot's RAS net profit for the first half of 2024 amounted to RUB 35.3 billion against a loss of RUB 81.68 billion a year earlier. Revenue increased by 51.9% to RUB 312 billion from RUB 205.4 billion. Gross profit amounted to RUB 9.18 billion against a loss of RUB 9.2 billion. The profit, adjusted for exchange differences, amounted to RUB 24.255 billion against a loss of RUB 9.042 billion.
