The overwhelming amount of charitable assistance in 2024 was provided by the largest foundations. 69% of charitable activities are carried out by the 20 largest foundations. In 2024, they allocated a total of more than 45 billion rubles for targeted activities. The share of 50 large and medium-sized foundations was 26%, while 87 small foundations accounted for 5% of charity. This is evidenced by a study by the AK&M Rating Agency, which published the results of the fourth rating of charitable foundations supported by large corporations. The project partner is SIBUR.
The rating evaluates the size of charity and other targeted fund activities for 2024. The rating of charitable foundations has been published by the AK&M Rating Agency since 2022. It includes funds not only established by major corporations, but also founded by individuals and actively cooperating with large companies, receiving support from them and participating in joint projects.
At the same time, only those funds that companies mention in their ESG reports, disclosing information about their social projects, are evaluated. 152 funds were included in the final list.
