The AK&M rating agency has assigned the rating of non-financial reporting of PJSC Rosseti Lenenergo at the level - RESG 1, the highest level of disclosure of information on sustainable development in reports. The company has received this rating for the second year in a row.
In accordance with the agency's methodology, the reporting of PJSC ROSSETI Lenenergo for 2023 received 95 points and was assigned to the highest level. This rating is assigned to companies that have received a rating score in the range from 85 to 106.6.
This year, Rosseti Lenenergo significantly expanded the list of disclosed information, the rating score was increased from 90.6 points for the 2022 report to 95 based on the results of the analysis of the 2023 reporting. The Company discloses information about its activities in the field of sustainable development as part of an Integrated Annual Report. Information about ESG aspects is distributed throughout the text of the report. The 2023 report has been updated with new sections on human rights and tax policy. It adds information about the company's contribution to achieving Russia's national development goals, as well as an expanded description of interaction with stakeholders.
The report contains a lot of statistical data, which are compared over 3-5 years. The Agency notes the high level of disclosure of data on personnel policy. The pages of the report describe in detail staff development activities, efforts aimed at social protection of employees, and youth policy.
The report demonstrates the company's careful attitude to the historical past, recalling outstanding personalities – engineers in the energy sector who made a great contribution to the development of the electrical industry in the North-West of Russia. Each section of the report begins with portraits and a brief description of the achievements of the great engineers of the 19th and 20th centuries.
Among the agency's recommendations is to finalize the energy efficiency section and supplement it with information on the total amount of energy consumption in generally accepted units of measurement. The agency also recommends auditing the sections of the report devoted to sustainable development.
The rating of non-financial reporting was assigned based on the methodology adopted by the AK&M Rating Agency.
