A number of additional measures aimed at improving the market of petroleum products are currently being worked out. This is reported on the website of the Cabinet of Ministers with reference to Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak, who held meetings on the situation on the domestic market of petroleum products.
Alexander Novak instructed the Ministry of Energy to monitor the situation on the oil products market in order to reliably ensure domestic demand for fuel and maintain a price balance in the retail segment, including ahead of the upcoming winter season.
The Ministry of Economic Development will analyze the parameters influencing the formation of retail fuel prices.
A model for monitoring gasoline prices based on consumer activity has now been developed. Monitoring allows you to track the dynamics of prices in different regions and the volume of consumption, which makes it possible to quickly respond to the situation.
