Revenue decreased by 21% to RUB 238.2 billion from RUB 299.6 billion due to a 12% reduction in sales due to a contraction in demand in the rough and polished diamonds market (primarily in the first half of 2019), a decrease in the average price index (-6%), and changes in the sales structure due to stronger demand for small-size diamonds. EBITDA decreased by 31% to RUB 107.1 billion from RUB 156 billion resulting from lower revenues.

RAS net loss of ALROSA for January-March 2020 was RUB 7.481 billion against a profit of RUB 16.06 billion a year earlier. Revenue decreased by 18.78% to RUB 40.147 billion from RUB 49.43 billion. Pre-tax loss was RUB 8.907 billion against a profit of RUB 20.464 billion.
