Amazon and iRobot have announced a final merger agreement, under which Amazon will acquire iRobot. This is stated in the message of the latter.
Amazon will acquire iRobot at a price of $61 per share in an all-cash deal worth about $1.7 billion, including iRobot's net debt. The completion of the transaction is subject to the usual closing conditions, including the approval of iRobot shareholders and regulatory approval. Upon completion, Colin Engle will remain CEO of iRobot.
