ACR Bidco, owned by Atlas FRM LLC, acquires the British banknote manufacturing company De La Rue for 263 million pounds, or $330 million. This is stated in the Atlas FRM message.
According to the terms of the agreement, De La Rue shareholders will receive 130 pence per share. The acquisition followed a formal sale process initiated by De La Rue in February 2025. Deutsche Numis advised the company on the financial terms of the deal.
De La Rue is one of the world leaders in the field of secure printing. The company supplies banknotes, passports, and anti-counterfeiting solutions to governments and central banks in 140 countries.
Atlas, a U.S.-based investment firm, specializes in acquiring industrial enterprises with strong market positions but undervalued growth potential.
