American Maritime Partners completes acquisition of Centerline Logistics

The American shipping company Maritime Partners, LLC has completed the acquisition of the transportation company Centerline Logistics Corp. This is reported in the Maritime press release. 

As part of the deal, Maritime expects to expand its portfolio of diversified offshore assets and increase operational efficiency through one of the largest operators of oil barges in the United States for the transportation of liquid petroleum products.

In June 2025, Maritime entered into an agreement with Centerline's main investors, including Macquarie Capital and Silverbox Capital, to acquire assets. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. 

Maritime Partners, together with ATLAS SP Partners, have developed a warehouse structure based on the acquisition of Centerline assets. 

Maritime Partners is an American shipping company in the field of marine leasing and transportation of agricultural products, chemicals, building materials and refined petroleum products. The headquarters is located in Metairie, Louisiana. Maritime operates a fleet of 2,000 vessels in the domestic shipping sector. 

Centerline Logistics is one of the largest oil transportation operators in the marine and petroleum industries. The company offers bunkering, terminal transportation and ship escort services, providing transportation and storage of petroleum products and general cargo. The headquarters is located in Seattle, Washington.
