Consumer prices in the Russian Federation increased by 0.79% in the week from July 1 to July 7, and by 4.58% since the beginning of the year. Annual inflation in Russia accelerated to 9.45%. This is reported in the materials of the Ministry of Economic Development.
During the week from July 1 to July 7, food prices decreased by 0.05%. The reduction in the cost of fruit and vegetable products accelerated to 0.7%. Prices for food products, excluding fruit and vegetable products, increased by 0.01%. Butter fell by 0.02%, cereals – by 0.3%, sugar – by 0.1%, eggs – by 2.3%.
Prices for non-food products decreased by 0.02%. New passenger cars fell in price by 0.9%. Medicines became more expensive by 0.3%, building materials – by 0.06%. Gasoline prices rose by 0.3%, while diesel prices remained unchanged.
In the segment of observed services, prices increased by 6.11%, mainly due to the annual indexation of tariffs for housing and communal services.
