Bashneft (part of Rosneft) allocated 4.1 billion rubles for environmental protection projects in the first half of 2024. This is 14% higher than the level of the previous year. This was reported by Rosneft.
The biological treatment plants (BOS) of the Ufa group of refineries processed 11.8 million cubic meters of wastewater. Since the launch of this facility six years ago, more than 146 million cubic meters of wastewater have been treated. BOS not only services Bashneft's refineries, but also purifies wastewater for 66 enterprises in the northern industrial zone of Ufa.
The treatment facilities have achieved a high level of purification, which has increased the volume of recycled water in production processes by 2.5 times. The quality of the treated water meets the strict standards required for fisheries reservoirs.
In addition, Bashneft reduced the impact on atmospheric air by almost 4% due to technological re-equipment, which affected installations responsible for the production of phenol and acetone at the Ufaorgsintez petrochemical enterprise, as well as the hydrotreating of petroleum distillates at the Ufa Refinery.
The main production region is the Republic of Bashkortostan – Bashneft ensured the useful use of associated petroleum gas at the level of 95.7%.

The management of PJSC ANC Bashneft is not aware of the presence of shareholders (holders of shares) of the company holding more than 5% of the authorized capital (all owners of shares of the company whose share exceeds 5% of the total number of outstanding shares of the company), in addition to the above.
