The Primorsky Territorial Administration of Rosrybolovstvo issued the first permits for pollock extraction for Belarus this year. This is stated in the message of the department.
Within the framework of the intergovernmental agreement between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus dated March 13, 2002, on the basis of the Protocol of the twentieth session of the Russian-Belarusian Mixed Commission in the Field of Fisheries dated December 9, 2022, Belarus has been allocated a quota for pollock production in the exclusive economic zone of Russia for this year in the Far Eastern Fisheries Basin.
To date, the first five fishing permits have been issued. The fishing will be carried out by joint Russian-Belarusian enterprises.
