Boeing Company is launching a single e-commerce platform to modernize and integrate Boeing Distribution. This is reported in a Boeing press release.
The new platform combines Boeing Distribution's product and service portfolio with the e-commerce platform into a single digital space, simplifying customer and supplier interactions, transactions, and technology development.
Boeing Distribution has already implemented several key initiatives aimed at strengthening operations and improving customer service, including enhanced AOG (Aircraft on Ground) access to accelerate response, an improved customer support model, and the introduction of a new state-of-the-art enterprise resource planning system to unify data and improve efficiency.
The new Boeing Distribution e-commerce website offers a comprehensive catalog of Boeing products and services for commercial aviation, business and general aviation, vertical transportation and defense, as well as intelligent search based on artificial intelligence and access to spare parts and services that were previously purchased separately on the websites of Boeing Distribution (formerly Aviall) and Boeing Distribution Services.
Boeing is an American aerospace company and the largest American exporter. Boeing designs, manufactures, and maintains commercial aircraft, military products, and space systems for customers in 150 countries. Since mid-2022, the headquarters has been located in Arlington, Washington.
