By order of the Federal Property Management Agency, the valuation of 67.2% of the shares of the gold mining company PJSC Yuzhuralzoloto Group of Companies (YUGK) and other companies belonging to the YUGK group, whose assets were previously transferred to the ownership of the Russian Federation by the decision of the Sovetsky District Court of Chelyabinsk at the request of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation, has been completed. This is stated in the message of the Federal Property Management Agency.
The total market value of assets is estimated at 162.02 billion rubles: PJSC Yuzhuralzoloto Group of Companies (67.2%) at 140.437 billion rubles, LLC YUGK Management Company (100%) — at 9.124 billion rubles, LLC Business Asset (100%) — 542.4 million rubles, LLC Home (100%) — 10.44 billion rubles, LLC Arbat City (80%) — 1 rub, LLC Uraltranskomplekt (100%) — 434.067 million rubles, LLC Agrocomplex Ecomodul (67%) — 529.8 million rubles, LLC Gardens of the Foothills (67%) — 477.97 million rubles, LLC "Loading and Transport Management" (100%) - 18 million rubles, LLC "Korkinsky Excavator and Wagon Repair Plant" (1%) — 13.469 million rubles.
The Federal Property Management Agency has prepared a corresponding draft decree of the Government of the Russian Federation providing for the sale of assets of the YUGK group at open competitive auctions, which are scheduled to be held in early May 2026.
The auction will be held in a shortened time frame, the participants will have 5 working days to apply for participation in the auction and make a deposit of 20% of the initial bid price — 32.4 billion rubles.
YUGK Group is one of the largest gold mining companies in Russia, whose portfolio also includes other businesses, including a coal mining business located in the Kemerovo region.
YUGK's profit under IFRS for 2024 increased 13-fold to 8.84 billion rubles from 687 million rubles a year earlier. The profit attributable to the shareholders of the parent company amounted to 8.8 billion rubles against 683 million rubles.
