The Canadian government plans to sell nuclear energy and LNG technologies to Poland. This is reported by foreign media with reference to the Minister of Commerce Maninder Sidhu.

In addition, Canada, which is stepping up efforts to diversify exports beyond the United States, has held talks on building a nuclear reactor in Poland.

Canada is ready to offer stable uranium supplies and financing for the project, as well as the sale of LNG to terminals in the Baltic Sea as part of swap deals.

Earlier, the Polish government selected American companies Westinghouse Electric Co. and Bechtel Group Inc. to implement Poland's first nuclear project in an effort to get rid of expensive coal-fired power.

M. Sidhu also visited the defense exhibition in Poland as part of a delegation of more than 200 Canadian companies.
