Cargo turnover of Russian seaports decreased by 0.4% in 2025%

The cargo turnover of Russian seaports in 2025 amounted to 884.5 million tons. This is 0.4% less than in 2024, according to the website of the Association of Commercial Seaports.

The volume of transshipment of dry cargo decreased by 0.2% to 441.7 million tons, including grain – 31.1% to 52.2 million tons, cargo in containers – by 2.7% to 54 million tons. The volume of coal transshipment increased by 7.8% to 202.9 million tons, mineral fertilizers – by 8% to 45.9 million tons, ferrous metals – by 20.8% to 23 million tons, ore – by 29.1% to 15.9 million tons.

The volume of bulk cargo transshipment amounted to 442.8 million tons, which is 0.5% less than in the previous year. Including transshipment of food cargo decreased by 11.4% to 5.7 million tons, petroleum products – by 7.7% to 121.1 million tons. The volume of crude oil transshipment increased by 2.8% to 274.9 million tons, and liquefied gas – by 2.5% to 37.2 million tons.

Transshipment of export cargoes decreased by 0.6% to 696.6 million tons. Import cargo was overloaded with 41.2 million tons (-3.9%), transit cargo – 71.5 million tons (+10%), coastal cargo – 75.2 million tons (-5%).
