Cargo turnover of Russian seaports in January 2025 amounted to 71.6 million tons, which is 1.6% less than in January 2023. This is reported by the Association of Commercial Seaports.
The volume of grain transshipment decreased by 30.3% to 3.8 million tons. The volume of coal transshipment increased by 6.2% to 15.3 million tons, mineral fertilizers – by 17.9% to 3.9 million tons, ferrous metals – by 35% to 2.1 million tons, ore – by 95.7% to 1.1 million tons,
The volume of crude oil transshipment decreased by 8.5% to 21.2 million tons, petroleum products – by 5.1% to 11.6 million tons, liquefied natural gas – increased by 4.4% to 3.4 million tons. Transshipment of food cargo decreased by 3.2% to 0.6 million tons.
57.3 million tons of export cargo were overloaded, which is 0.5% less than in the same period last year. Transshipment of imported cargo increased by 10.7% to 3.6 million tons, transit cargo decreased by 14.7% to 5.2 million tons, and coastal cargo decreased by 6.2% to 5.5 million tons.
