Cargo turnover of Russian seaports in the first half of 2025 amounted to 425.2 million tons. This is 5.4% less than in the same period of 2024, according to the website of the Association of Commercial Seaports.
The volume of transshipment of dry cargo decreased by 7.4% to 204.4 million tons, bulk cargo – by 3.5% to 220.8 million tons. 334.4 million tons (-5.8%) of export cargo were overloaded, 20.9 million tons (+1.1%) of import cargo, 36.4 million tons (+5.9%) of transit cargo, and 33.5 million tons (-14.4%) of coastal cargo.
Cargo turnover of seaports in the Arctic basin decreased by 6.7% to 44 million tons, the Baltic basin – by 3.2% to 135.8 million tons, the Azov-Black Sea basin – by 11.9% to 123.5 million tons, the Caspian basin – by 36.7% to 3.1 million tons. Cargo turnover of seaports in the Far Eastern basin increased by 1.6% to 118.7 million tons. T.
