Cargo transshipment at commercial seaports of the Russian Federation in January-March 2025 amounted to 208.218 million tons, which is 5.6% less than in the same period of 2024. This is evidenced by the materials posted on the telegram channel of the Seaport-TEK.
Transshipment decreased in all basins except the Far East (+0.1%). Thus, transshipment in the Caspian basin decreased by 32.9%, the Azov-Black Sea basin - by 11.6%, the Arctic Basin – by 8.7%, and the Baltic Basin – by 1.8%.
164.419 million tons were exported, which is 5.4% less than a year earlier. 15.65 million tons of coastal cargo were handled (minus 19.1%). Transit increased by 3.1% to 18.021 thousand tons, transshipment of imported cargo – by 2.9% to 10.127 million tons.
Transshipment of dry cargo decreased by 5.3% to 98.429 million tons. The transshipment of fertilizers increased by 17.9%, ferrous metals – by 21.1%.
Transshipment of bulk cargo decreased by 5.8% to 109.789 million tons. The transshipment of chemical cargoes and liquefied gas increased, while the remaining bulk cargoes decreased. The values of these indicators are not given in the message.
