Cargo turnover of Russian seaports increased by 0.6% in January-March%

Cargo turnover of Russian seaports in January-March 2026 amounted to 210.1 million tons. This is 0.6% more than in the same period of 2025, according to the website of the Association of Commercial Seaports.

The volume of transshipment of dry cargo increased by 3.5% to 102.5 million tons, including coal – by 3% to 45.4 million tons, grain – by 39.4% to 13.1 million tons, ore – by 17.4% to 3.4 million tons, cargo on ferries — by 13.8% to 2.1 million tons. Transshipment of goods in containers decreased by 2% to 13.4 million tons, mineral fertilizers – by 3.8% to 11.6 million tons, ferrous metals – by 4.8% to 5.6 million tons.

The volume of bulk cargo transshipment amounted to 107.6 million tons, which is 2% less than in the same period of the previous year. Including transshipment of crude oil decreased by 0.2% to 64.9 million tons, petroleum products – by 8.6% to 29.7 million tons, food cargo – by 4.1% to 1.4 million tons. Transshipment of liquefied gas increased by 11.7% to 10.8 million tons.

Transshipment of export cargoes increased by 1.1% to 166.7 million tons. 9.9 million tons (-1.8%) of imported cargo were overloaded, 14.5 million tons (-19.8%) of transit cargo, and 19 million tons (+20.7%) of coastal cargo.
