The volume of cash in circulation in July 2026 increased by 0.7 trillion rubles against an increase of 0.5 trillion rubles in June. This is reported in the materials of the Bank of Russia.
The regulator notes that the demand for cash in circulation has increased more than in the same period of previous years.
In the context of lower interest rates, as well as the continued increase in interest in cash, the annual growth rate of ruble funds in banks continued to slow down and amounted to 10.9% after 11.7% a month earlier, the Central Bank emphasizes.
