Cherkizovo reduces chicken sales by 1% to 59,480 tonnes in July

In July 2020, Cherkizovo reduced chicken sales by 1% to 59,480 tonnes from 60,240 tonnes a year earlier, the company reported.

The average sales price decreased by 1% to 107.43 rubles per kg from 108.08 rubles per kg.

Turkey sales decreased by 19% to 3,120 tonnes from 3,860 tonnes, the average selling price growing by 22% to 182.71 rubles per kg from 150.16 rubles per kg.

PJSC Cherkizovo Group (tax number: 7718560636) is an agricultural producer developing an integrated production business from feed-stuffs to ready meat products. The group comprises integrated poultry farms, pork production facilities, meat processing plants, feed mills and elevators. Cherkizovo's beneficiaries are Igor Babaev and his family.

IFRS net profit of Cherkizovo for Q1 2020 decreased by 6.1% to RUB 3.005 billion from RUB 3.201 million a year earlier. Adjusted net profit decreased by 36.6% to RUB 1.3 billion versus RUB 2 billion. Revenue increased by 13.1% to RUB 30.164 billion from RUB 26.681 billion. Gross profit went up 22.5% to Rub 8.791 billion from RUB 7.179 billion. Adjusted EBITDA increased by 23.9% to RUB 4.994 billion from RUB 4.032 billion.
