Consumer gasoline prices did not change in October

Consumer prices for automobile gasoline in October 2022 compared to September 2022 did not change, producer prices decreased by 21.3%. This was reported by Rosstat.

In October, an increase in consumer prices for automobile gasoline was observed in 35 regions of the Russian Federation. Most notably, it rose in price in the Magadan region – by 2.7%. A decrease in prices for automobile gasoline was observed in 18 regions of the Russian Federation. Most of all, it fell in price in Sevastopol – by 0.9%, in the Republic of Tyva – by 0.8%. In Moscow, over the past period, prices for automobile gasoline have practically not changed, in St. Petersburg - increased by 0.2%.

In October 2022, compared with September, producer prices for automotive gasoline on average became 21.3% lower. It has fallen in price in almost all subjects of the Russian Federation engaged in the production of gasoline. Most of all, prices for it decreased in the Omsk region – by 31.7%, the Ryazan region – by 26.7%, the Saratov region – by 26.2%, the Tyumen Region – by 24.8%, the Perm Region – by 24.5%. An increase in gasoline prices was noted in the Irkutsk region – by 1.6%. In the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and the Sakhalin Region, prices for automobile gasoline remained at the level of September 2022.

Consumer prices for automobile gasoline in October on average in the Russian Federation exceeded producer prices by 3.5 times. Producer prices for oil decreased by 9.8%, tariffs for its pumping by pipeline transport became 0.2% higher.
