Consumer gasoline prices in Russia decreased by 0.4% in December

Consumer prices for automobile gasoline in December 2025 decreased by 0.4% by November 2025, producer prices — by 11.6%. This was reported by Rosstat.

A decrease in consumer prices for automobile gasoline by 0.4% or more was noted in 44 regions of the Russian Federation, most notably in the republics of Khakassia — by 8.7% and Tyva — by 7.3%.

Price increases were recorded in 23 regions of the Russian Federation, most notably in the Magadan Region — by 4.9%.

In Moscow and St. Petersburg, gasoline prices have increased by 0.1% and 0.2%, respectively, over the past period.

Producer prices for automobile gasoline on average became lower by 11.6%. Gasoline has become cheaper in almost all regions of the Russian Federation. Most of all, its prices decreased in the Omsk region — by 22.8%, the Irkutsk Region — by 16.7%, Moscow — by 15.4%, the Tyumen Region — by 14.4%, the Perm Region — by 12.7%. In the Astrakhan region, gasoline prices remained at the November level.

Producer prices for oil decreased by 15.4%, and tariffs for pumping oil by pipeline increased by 0.7%.
