Consumer prices for automobile gasoline in December 2024 increased by 1.4% compared to November 2024. Producer prices decreased by 12.5%. This was reported by Rosstat.
An increase in consumer prices for automobile gasoline by 1.4% or more was noted in 34 regions of the Russian Federation, most notably in the Republic of Adygea and the Yaroslavl Region — by 2%. A decrease in prices for automobile gasoline was recorded in the republics of Tyva — by 0.9%, and Komi — by 0.3%. In Moscow and St. Petersburg over the past period, the increase in prices for automobile gasoline amounted to 1.6%.
Producer prices for automobile gasoline have become lower by 12.5% on average. Gasoline has become cheaper in 12 regions of the Russian Federation. Most of all, its prices decreased in the Volgograd Region — by 25.6%, the Komi Republic — by 24.2%, Moscow — by 22.9%, Perm Krai — by 22%, Omsk Region — by 21.7%, Nizhny Novgorod Region — by 19.9%. The price increase was noted in the Sakhalin Region — by 3.2%, the Krasnodar Territory — by 2.3%. In the Leningrad, Saratov and Irkutsk regions, car gasoline prices remained at the level of November 2024.
Consumer prices for automobile gasoline on average in the Russian Federation exceeded producer prices by 2.5 times. The increase in producer prices for oil amounted to 2.4%, the increase in tariffs for its pumping by pipeline transport amounted to 0.7%.
