Consumer prices in the Russian Federation decreased by 0.13% during the week from July 29 to August 4, 2025, and by 0.07% since the beginning of the month. Annual inflation was 8.77%. This is reported in the materials of the Ministry of Economic Development.
During the week from July 29 to August 4, food prices fell by 0.34%, including fruit and vegetable products – by 4.6%. Food products, excluding fruit and vegetable products, have become more expensive by 0.05%.
Prices for non-food products increased by 0.04% over the week. Gasoline prices rose by 0.3%, while diesel prices remained unchanged. The decline in prices for new passenger cars accelerated to 0.5% due to imported cars (-0.8%). Prices for domestic cars have not changed. Prices for services increased by 0.01%.
