Consumer prices in the Russian Federation have not changed for the week from July 30 to August 5, as well as since the beginning of the month. Since the beginning of the year, inflation has been 4.99%. This was reported by Rosstat.
From July 30 to August 5, butter rose in price by 0.6%, canned fruit and berry products for baby food - by 0.5%, table salt - by 0.4%, pork, sterilized milk, sunflower oil, wheat flour and canned vegetables for baby food – by 0.3%, frozen fish, canned meat for children food, pasteurized milk, cottage cheese, sour cream, hard, semi–hard and soft cheeses, wheat bread, buckwheat groats - by 0.2%.
Prices for fruits and vegetables decreased by 1%, including tomatoes by 2%, cucumbers by 1.8%, potatoes by 1.6%, bananas by 1.1%, onions by 0.7%. Prices for white cabbage increased by 2.7%.
Chicken eggs fell in price by 1%, sausages – by 0.4%, vermicelli – by 0.3%, millet – by 0.2%, beef, chicken meat and pasta – by 0.1%.
Prices for gasoline increased by 0.3%, diesel fuel – by 0.2%.
Of non–food products, televisions rose in price by 1.2%, smartphones – by 1%, electric vacuum cleaners – by 0.8%, edged boards – by 0.5%, sneakers for adults – by 0.3%, passenger cars of foreign brands, cigarettes with a filter - by 0.2%.
The cost of an economy class flight has decreased by 7%. Accommodation in holiday homes and boarding houses fell by 0.3%.
