Deflation in the Russian Federation in July was 0.4%. Since the beginning of the year, consumer prices have increased by 11%. This is reported by Rosstat.
In July, a significant impact on the dynamics of prices for food products had a reduction in the cost of fruit and vegetable products. Thus, white cabbage fell by 33.2%, potatoes - by 27.6%, beets - by 27.1%, grapes - by 15.7%, bananas - by 14.2%, tomatoes - by 14%, carrots - by 13.3%, pears - by 11%, oranges - by 8.9%, garlic - by 8.5%, cucumbers - by 7.7%, apples - by 5.9%, onions - by 4.1%.
Prices also decreased by: chicken eggs - by 4.4%, granulated sugar - by 3.5%, buckwheat groats - by 3.2%, millet, sunflower oil - by 1.4%, black tea bagged - by 1.3%, oat flakes "Hercules" - by 1.2%, chocolate - by 1.1%, chicken meat - by 1%, instant coffee - by 0.9%, pasta, wheat flour, cocoa - by 0.8%, salmon roe, sterilized milk, beef liver, sour cream - by 0.7%.
In July, out of non-food products, prices for two-chamber refrigerators decreased the most - by 6.3%, chipboard, oriented chipboard - by 6%, cameras - by 5.6%.
In the group of electrical goods and other household appliances, it became cheaper: mixers, blenders - by 4.8%, sewing machines - by 4.7%, washing machines, microwave ovens - by 3.8%, electric irons - by 2.6%, household stoves - by 2.5%, electric kettles - by 2.1%, LED lamps - by 1%, electric vacuum cleaners, electric batteries - by 0.9%. Prices for electric lighting lamps increased by 0.4%.
