Control over the work of the Unified Service of call centers 122 will be strengthened

The unified service of call centers 122 for COVID should be mobilized in all regions of the Russian Federation. Starting next week, the regions with the worst situation will be named by the duration of waiting for a response and by the number of unanswered calls in the service 122. This is stated in the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers with reference to the Deputy Chairman of the Government Dmitry Chernyshenko.

At a meeting on the work of the unified service 122, the Deputy Prime Minister noted the importance of enhanced monitoring of the work of the call centers of the service, which provides routing of calls from citizens to medical institutions and ambulance services, due to the increase in the spread of the new strain "Omicron" in the world.

D. Chernyshenko pointed to the deterioration of the epidemiological situation. "The signs of the fifth wave of coronavirus are clearly visible, during which we will face peak loads on the healthcare system, as well as on the telecommunications system," he stressed.
