Dmitry Kamenshchik denied foreign influence on the Domodedovo airport seized from him. The Supreme Court registered his cassation appeal. The newspaper Vedomosti writes about this.
In particular, D. Kamenshchik disputes the thesis that he is a foreign investor, since he was a resident of Turkey and the UAE. He actually had a residence permit in these countries in 2022. But at that time, Federal Law 57-FZ did not define such citizens as foreign investors. The relevant amendments to this law came into force in May 2023. D. Kamenshchik's residence permits in Turkey and the UAE expired in October 2023, and while these permits were valid, the businessman did not carry out transactions to establish control over strategic companies. The redomicilation of the ownership structure of Domodedovo Airport took place in September-October 2024. As a result of these transactions, D.Kamenshchik acquired ownership of DME Holding LLC, which was under his control directly (1%) and through Alamo Holding JSC (99%).
