Damate Group of Companies has launched the production of chopped turkey semi-finished products in St. Petersburg with a capacity of 400 tons per month. The project cost 263 million rubles. It covers three regions: Penza and Rostov regions, St. Petersburg. The financial partner is JSC "Rosselkhoznadzor". This is stated in the company's message.
The start of production of high-margin products in St. Petersburg will allow Damata to optimize logistics: it will reduce the delivery time and guarantee maximum freshness of products.
The production site is located on the basis of the St. Petersburg Chicken Company meat processing plant, where Damate has installed its own high-tech equipment on lease terms. Damate has concluded a contract with the plant under the scheme of raw materials, under which the company supplies its own raw materials for production, and the plant manufactures products under the Indylight brand.
Among the equipment is a line for the production of chopped semi-finished products of the cutlet group, which consists of automated molding machines, machines for applying liquid and dry breading. There is also a line for the production of kupat and minced meat with the function of automated product dosing. Both lines are equipped with installations for automatic packaging of products using modified atmosphere.
In the near future, the Damate group of companies plans to launch production in the region of completely new items of the assortment line - turkey balls "In Skobelevsky" and cutlets "Nevsky".
The products are sold in federal and retail chains of St. Petersburg, Leningrad Region, Republic of Karelia, Novgorod and Murmansk Regions, Pskov Region, Vologda Region, Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
