The Belgian developer Ghelamco has agreed to sell its only asset in Russia— a warehouse complex (243 thousand square meters) in Dmitrov, Moscow region. This was told to the newspaper Vedomosti by a source close to this company. Two consultants who have worked with this facility are also aware of this.

The deal has already been closed, says one of Vedomosti's interlocutors. The second one assures that it has not been legally completed yet, but all binding documents have been signed between the parties. According to him, they also received all the necessary permits from the government commission.

It is not known exactly who is the buyer of the warehouse. A source close to Ghelamco says that "by all indications, this is an investment company called Central Properties." She was the main contender for this asset, according to two consultants and a top manager of the company who considered buying a speech park.

If Ghelamco has indeed found a buyer for its warehouse, then this actually means that it is leaving Russia, the consultants say. The company itself was founded in 1985 by businessman Paul Geisen. She is engaged in the construction of commercial real estate in European countries (mainly in Belgium, France and the UK).

Ghelamco has been looking for a buyer for the Dmitrov warehouse complex since February 2022. According to Vedomosti's consultants, the investment holding Kama Capital and Alfa-Capital Management Company were interested in them. Kommersant and RBC also named Vesper, Professional Logistics Technologies (created by the Russian Direct Investment Fund, Mubadala Investments and other Middle Eastern funds), Instone Development, the owner of the Yuzhnye Vorota logopark in Domodedovo, as well as former Lukoil top manager Valery Subbotin, among the potential applicants.
