Following the results of the meeting on prices in the food market, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Patrushev instructed the departments to take comprehensive measures within two weeks to maintain a stable situation in the food market. This is reported on the website of the Cabinet of Ministers.
D.Patrushev instructed to monitor the food market on a daily basis.
The Deputy Prime Minister stressed that the mass harvest is coming to an end and, in general, the agro-industrial complex can provide all the necessary food. The indicators of animal husbandry, food and processing industries are stable.
D. Patrushev recalled that measures to prevent fluctuations in food prices had been repeatedly discussed earlier. In September, when negative trends were already observed in a number of positions, an agreement was reached on the implementation of the necessary steps.
During the meeting, the participants discussed specific proposals for operational actions to be taken, as well as long–term tools to increase the production of various types of products in order to ensure a stable price situation in the food market.
One of the most important tasks facing manufacturers is to ensure the necessary level of production in conditions of a high key rate.
