Bank DOM.RF conducted the first mortgage transactions for individual housing construction (IHS) in accordance with Federal Law No. 186-FZ, which entered into force on March 1. Loans totaling about 28 million rubles were issued to 5 families in the Moscow region, Tyumen, Rostov, Novosibirsk regions and Krasnodar Territory. This is stated in the message of the bank.
Another 7 deals are being prepared for signing in the Chelyabinsk, Ulyanovsk, Rostov, Novosibirsk regions, the Moscow region and the Republic of Tatarstan — for a total amount of about 50 million rubles.
The new mechanism functions similarly to the scheme of shared—equity construction of apartment buildings - the money for construction will be stored in the bank on the escrow account. The contractor will receive them only after completion of construction and registration of the buyer's ownership rights in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities. Escrow funds are insured by the state in the amount of up to 10 million rubles.
