Elvira Nabiullina has been appointed Head of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation. She has held this position since 2013. This was announced by the State Duma in its telegram channel.

E.Nabiullina was born on October 29, 1963 in Ufa. In 1991-1992, she held the position of Chief Specialist of the Directorate of the Standing Committee of the Board of the Scientific and Industrial Union of the USSR on Economic Reform (Moscow). 1992-1994 — Chief Specialist, consultant to the Directorate of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs on economic policy issues. 1994-1994 — Advisor to the Expert Institute of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.

In 1994-1995, she was Deputy Head of the Department of Economic Reform — Head of the Department of State Regulation of the Economy of the Ministry of Economy of the Russian Federation.
